He was basically just a throwaway everyman. Like AJ says in his review, Lucas Kellan is completely forgettable, and the decision to never cut to third-person in cinematics just made him that much more unrelatable. I really feel that GG's decision to essentially abandon the storyline and characters from the previous 3 Killzone games and start over fresh with a new character hurt my interest in the story. I maybe would've given it a 7/10, but regardless the campaign mode is severely lacking in many areas and largely just felt like a chore to get through with very little payoff for the effort.
